Freedom

we are about a million

sleeping giants

on this globe, all daydreaming

another world is here

we invite it into possibility

even though clueless, we can’t work out

how to hold it—invocate—in place

vertical vibration eludes us

needs constancy, one focus intention,

an awakening

for our very selves

since we have to be the ones

we are waiting for

innerstanding

that all conflicts are

in our own minds—

preoccupation w/ images of ourselves

made by others

transfixed, bewitched into bumbling beliefs,

split attention, small-minded idiosyncrasy

about who we are

cannot experience the truth

& don’t know freedom

tastes like pure love
